Lady of Amethyst and craft room pics!!!

Morning everyone i have a card for Crafts and Me to share today we are continuing with the bumper winter wonderland theme and you have two more weeks to enter to be in with a chance of winning one of the fab prizes on offer.I have used the beautiful Lady Of Amethyst from Sara Burrier and coloured her with copics papers are from Authentique

and while i am here over at deep ocean this week we have a fun theme and that is simple to show us your craft space we all love a nosey round other people's rooms dont we so get a piccy and join us !! 

so here is mine !!

now bear in mind that as the room is a massive attic conversion i very generously (make that VERY GENEROUSLY !!) share it with 2 very messy boys !! i did consider cleaning up before i took the photo but then i thought nah its school holidays they will be back messing up again in a few hours !! so i just kept the camera away from the worst bits !!

actually quite a tidy desk for me !! what you cant see is the boys mess directly behind it !! i have them contained in the corner so i can keep an eye on them while im at my desk !!

i used to have all  my ribbons and lace stored in a massive jumble in a box then after visiting my lovely friend kat (go check out her gorgeous room i want it!!) i was inspired to make mine pretty and girlie !! sooooooo i found this fab stand in ikea and massively reduced so snapped that up,it is sitting on a lazy susan so i can spin it round ,i got loads of dolly pegs and spent ages rolling ribbons and lace on them and for maybe a week or two it looked gorgeous !! now as you can see its back to being messy !!! lol 

hiding beneath some gorgeous lace curtains are boxes of stamps a mountain of papers and a very massive basket full of flowers oh and just a few dies and other assorted lovelies !! what you dont see is the bottom of the curtain where the puppy has chewed it !!! so there i am sitting at my desk with more often than not 2 boys cutting up ,glueing and generally destroying (sorry creating) anything they can get their hands on and a very small dog who eats anything she can get her teeth into her favourite being giant pipe cleaners and pom poms from the boys stash !!  !! oh well i can dream of a lovely shabby chic room i guess ....
