Hi again im back with another card !! this time ive used 2 stamps from sweet rainbow and an older background ,i love this cute car it was just begging to be coloured pink !!! ive used distress inks and the papers are also magnolia sweet rainbow .

Honey pip...

hi everyone ive got a card i made with one of my new sugar nellies today she is called honey pip and is completely gorgeous !! ,ive coloured her with distress inks and used papers from cosmo cricket odds and ends( i had to buy this pad as it has lots of yummy red papers and i really did need them after not finding any when i needed them the other day so it doesnt count as a i know i shoudnt but i want it spend does it !!! )ive finished with some hand cut rolled flowers and a scrummy gingham bow

hi everyone its time for a new challenge at stamp something and the theme this week is bugs and butterflies and is sponsored by Stämpelkällan . I have chosen to use this beautiful sweet pea stamp and coloured with distress inks ,when i searched my paper mountain or some red papers i was horrified to find i didnt have any !! so i decided to make my own which was almost as much fun as colouring the image !! i used a lotv background stamp to make the flowery one and i think the other was from personal impressions not that you can see much of it now lol !! ive made a flower from a scrap of material and finished off with some fabby woc flowers , gorgeous cheery lynne swirl die and of course the butterflies courtesy of 2 martha stewart punches ,hope you can join in this week x

dreamy tilda wall hanging ....

Morning everyone today ive got a wallhanging i made with 3 of my fave challenges in mind mduc where there is a fab sketch , totally tilda where its distressing and just magnolia shabby chic .I love the sketch at mduc but wanted to do something other than a card so decided on this ,it started life as 2 pieces of plain chipboard one 8x8 the other 6x6 .to make the base i painted it with gesso then a layer of brown paint then a layer of cream then when dry i attaked it with sandpaper to give it a worn wood look then stamped some flourishes on one side as in the sketch .for the picture i masked i think it was 8 stamps !!! it took me 2 hours just to get the positioning right !! then i painted the scene with distress inks and mounted it on the smaller piece of chipboard .Then i found a piece of fabric i bought years ago that was ment to be curtains but never quite made it to the sewing machine and chopped out some triangles for the pennant banner sewed and inked the edges and added the sentiment ,finishing off with some flowers the beige one i made from a scrap of fabric love the way it came out all frayed and shabby looking . I really enjoyed making this hope you like it x x
