cream and lilac at lovely hAnglar only

Here i am again with my final card today !! this time its lovely hAnglar only and the theme this week is to use cream and lilac/purple .I chose probably my favourite hanglar and coloured her with distress inks ,i love this colour combo but just couldnt find a paper i was happy with ive got lots of gorgeous lilacs but none were quite the right shade so i decided to make my own .I was rummaging through my stamps and came across this truly beautiful flower corner stamp that had been neglected !! i got it at a local craft shop a few months ago but it never made it out of the packet !!! .....hangs head in shame !!! i coloured the flowers with copics then went over everything with antique linen and walnut stain inks and ta da just what i wanted !!! i really dont know why i dont do this more often its so much fun to make your own papers guess im too partial to shopping for all the new delish pads we are tempted by !!

Hiya im back again with my paper sundaes card and we've got a fabby challenge , as our sponsor this week stamp and create have just started to stock magnolia stamps its a maggie week !!! whooo hooo i thought right up my street !!!  ive used 2 stamps from an older collection masked together and coloured with distress inks ,i wanted to use these scrummy cupcake papers from maja design so decided to go with a mono choccy look !! The gorgeous lace is from ebay thanks to a tip off from my lovely friend kat as soon as i saw it had to have it !! lol  hope you can join us this week .

Morning everyone ive got 3 dt cards for you today !! the first is for simply magnolia where our them this week is love is in the air and is sponsored by Duymelot. I decided to make a tent card and used the gorgeous tilda and bridesmaid stamp from last year ,i made the background masking the hilltop scene with the sweet little church and coloured with distress inks .I wanted a really soft romantic look so made some flowers from sheer ribbons and added lots of swirls ,papers are magnolia .

rocked up pink at truly scrumptious

Hi all im back again with a new challenge at truly scrumptious this week out theme is rocked up pink - use mostly pink and is sponsored by digi's with attitude. I thought this little darling stamp would be perfect for this theme ,ive coloured her with copics and the papers i think are from echo park not 100% sure tho as for once i found just what i wanted in my overflowing scraps box !! I found some bits of chipboard that i wanted to use pink crackle paint on but i only have the white so i painted them first with a bright pink paint then just went over it with the crackle when dry worked just then pink so thats a spot of luck and saved me some pennies !!

just ......OMG !!!!

just omg !!! is exactly what i felt when i was flicking through the latest magnolia ink !! as usual was drooling over all the gorgeous makes in the mag then i get to the last few pages and ..... omg thats my card !!!! had to keep checking i wasnt seeing things but no there it was im in magnolia ink as blogger of the month !!! omg omg how fab is that !!! still cant quite believe it but thank you so so much guys you definately made my day

get sparkly at oldie but a goodie !!

Morning all today ive a dt card for oldie but a goodie to show this week we have a fab challenge to add sparkle and is sponsored by robyn's fetish digi stamps. Remember you have to use a stamp that is 6 months old .I was looking through my maggies choosing one to use and this little ballerina cutie jumped out at me dont think she has seen ink for a while so thought it about time !! ive coloured her with distress inks and used scrummy papers from melissa frances and  added lots of stickles to her tiara and little star bits around her

colour theme at dream valley ...

Hiya im back again with my card for dream valley ,this week is a colour theme and is sponsored by stitchy bear digi stamps

you can use all 4 colours or pick out one or two like i did , i chose this fab steampunk fairy to work with and have coloured her with copics 

 i have to admit this yellow is not a colour i would normally choose but i really like how this turned out so it just goes to show we really should try something new occasionally !! 

 of course i had to go to town with the distressing as usual and i think it really suits this image ,ive made the flowers with various punches and some simple rolled centres ,papers are from k&co watercolour bouquet ,the gorgeous lace i cut off an old skirt love it when you get free goodies !!!

some news and a mess !!!

Afternoon all no card to share today but i  do have some news and some pics of my very messy craft room !! i love seeing other peoples craft areas and after seeing mel's gorgeous room last week i thought i would share some so prepare to cringe it truly is a mess but i know exactly where everything is and i love it !! 

first though my news ..... I have been asked by the lovely kylie to join the design team at MDUC how completely fantastic is that im over the moon its been my one of my fave challenge blog's since i started out in blogland and ive loved joining in each week now i get to design for them im one happy bunny !!! so a massive thank you kylie cant wait to get started x x 

now ready for pics !! 

as you can see its not a massive room so really it should be tidy !! 

the desk is actually a 6 foot table found in bargain basement at ikea one end has laptop and printer this is my work end distress inks in blue basket dies in purple one and various tubs holding glues pens etc

 other end of desk with my boys art work in background !! oh and the donkey is called brian !!

shelves my OH made me for ms punches and a pic of my gorgeous boys !!

cricut machine and 2 baskets overflowing with 6x6 paper pads

my stamp shelf 3 boxes have magnolia's and there are 6 smaller ones with hanglar whiff of joy sugar nellie etc

more stamps on the other shelf 2 more boxes with magnolia these have all the accessory stamps other 3 were just for the figures and the pink basket is lotv and sweet pea

lastly pots with copics and big shot ,under the pens are my 12x12 papers ,it doesnt look like it from this angle but trust me there are loads of pads and loose papers in various boxes !! these are sitting on 2 of those drawers on wheels things that have cardstock inks yet more stamps and embellies and stuff

think thats it i told you it was a mess didnt i !!!
